How much does a full UPVC roofline cost in York?
A full UPVC roofline in York typically runs £1,200 to £3,000 inclusive of scaffold, materials and labour. A typical semi (around 20 linear metres of fascia and soffit, 22 metres of gutter) sits in the middle of that band, smaller terraces start from £1,200 and larger detached properties reach the top. Premium colours (anthracite, oak woodgrain) add roughly 10 per cent. Final price fixed after free survey.
Do you wrap existing fascias or replace them?
We replace as standard. Wrapping (capping board over existing timber) is cheaper short term but the timber underneath continues to rot if it's already started. We strip back to a sound substrate, replace any rotten timber with treated softwood, and fit new UPVC fascia and soffit on top. Wrap is available where the existing timber is genuinely sound and the homeowner wants a budget option.
What colours and finishes are available?
Standard white UPVC, anthracite grey, rosewood and oak woodgrain finishes. Samples shown at the survey so you can hold them against the brick and the windows.
Can you replace the gutters at the same time?
Yes, and on a full roofline we usually do: with the scaffold already up and the fascia boards off, new gutters and downpipes add little to the job. Gutter-only work, repairs and blocked gutters have their own page and prices, see our guttering service.
How long does a full roofline replacement take?
A typical semi is 3 to 5 working days. Detached properties 5 to 8 days. Scaffold up for the duration. Gutters disconnected and reconnected the same day so the rain-shedding is never interrupted overnight.
Do you guarantee the work?
Twenty-year workmanship guarantee in writing. Manufacturer warranty on the UPVC (typically 10 years on Eurocell, 15 years on premium ranges). Both issued with the final invoice.
